I have always found self-presentation in the online world fascinating. Nobody told us how to do it, but here we are chatting, twitting, sexting, laughing at memes, making stories of ourselves and our dogs.
In my thesis research project η ιστορία μου, η Ιστορία (my story,history), I try to use the tools of online communication and digital self-presentation as a screenwriting tool.
I explored theories of self-narratives, character building, personas and transmedia storytelling, in order to create my own personal practice for character development.

What is the story that the characters say for themselves on social media?

I created Instagram profiles for my characters, not only for understanding them better but also for expanding the film’s universe.
